Expansion of ag programs on 93.7 FM

Route 24 Radio, the newest local radio station, has announced an expansion of farm programming on 93.7 FM effective immediately.

The station is now an affiliate of the Illinois Farm Bureau's RFD Radio Network based in Bloomington, delivering high-quality ag news, markets, weather and livestock information to farmers in the state. This is in addition to the current Central Illinois Farm Network programming offered weekdays.

Here is the complete ag broadcast schedule on the radio station with more additions coming:

Monday - Friday:

5-6 a.m. "A Central IL Morning" with host Kent Casson, featuring the day's latest ag headlines, interviews, markets and more.

5:40, 6:40, 7:40 "Central Illinois Today," featuring local ag news via The Central Illinois Farm Network.

5:45 a.m./8:50 a.m./12:15 p.m. Ag weather update from RFD Radio Network.

6:50 a.m. Morning Ag News summary from the RFD Radio Network.

7:50 a.m. The latest ag news with Kent Casson.

12:05 p.m. "Inside Agriculture" from the RFD Radio Network.

12:07 p.m. "RFD Livestock Report" from the RFD Radio Network.

Saturday:

7 a.m. "Best of RFD" from the RFD Radio Network.

7:30 a.m. "Rural Notebook" with Kent Casson from The Central Illinois Farm Network, featuring a recap of the past week in local agriculture.

7:33 a.m. "Taking Stock" podcast from RFD Radio Network.
