Give blood in Flanagan next week

The American Red Cross has declared an emergency blood shortage and donors will have the chance to step up to help next week in Flanagan.

The Flanagan Community Blood Drive is Tuesday, July 28 from 1:30 to 6:30. Go to RedCrossBlood.org or call Elynor Pomeranke at 815-674-7005 to schedule an appointment.

All donors are needed to ensure patients receive lifesaving care without delay. American Red Cross reports blood supply fell nearly 25 percent in June and blood and platelet donations are needed as soon as possible.
