The Pontiac Fire Department’s newest paramedics recently earned their licenses.
The achievement represents hours of hard work, dedication and perseverance.
“Their commitment to advancing their skills and providing the highest level of care to our community is truly commendable,” said a news release issued this week by the Pontiac Fire Department.
Those earning their paramedic license include: Deputy Fire Marshal Mitch Nettleingham, Paramedic Raya Bohm, Firefighter Jeff Meister and Probationary Firefighter Aeden McDowell.
Paramedic Andy Larsen served as lead instructor throughout paramedic school and medical professionals from OSF, Pontiac Fire and SELCAS supported them during clinicals and ride time.
“Congratulations to all on this outstanding accomplishment,” adds PFD.
