Obituary: Sabo

Nora Rose Marie Sabo, 43, Strawn and formally of Mansfield, Ohio, peacefully passed away at 10:36 PM Sunday, October 26, 2025 at her residence in Strawn, surrounded by her family.

Her funeral will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 31, 2025 at the Apostolic Christian Faith Church of Fairbury with Ministers of the Church officiating. Burial will follow in the South Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, and 9:00 to 9:45 AM Friday at the church. The family suggests memorials be made to the Apostolic Christian Faith Church of Fairbury Alms Fund.

Nora was born June 9, 1982 in Mansfield, Ohio the daughter of Carl and Lila (Bridges) Schuster. She married Jason Sabo on July 7, 2001 in Mansfield, Ohio. He survives in Strawn.

Other survivors include their children, Sophie, Mansfield, Ohio, Joseph, Strawn, Anna (Timothy) Kaeb, Gridley, Michael and Henry, Strawn, one granddaughter Jayden Kaeb, one brother Carl Schuster II, Mansfield, Ohio, her parents Carl and Lila Schuster, and parents-in-law Greg and Sharon Sabo.

Nora was preceded in death by her Aunt Margaret. 

Nora was a loving wife, devoted mother, and homemaker. She dearly loved her granddaughter and loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Faith Church.
