The McLean County Coroner has released details surrounding a fatal motorcycle wreck on I-55 north at Normal which occurred last weekend. Caden N. Bike/pedestrian path to cross Chenoa railroad
During an Illinois Commerce Commission hearing in Chicago, 20 years of efforts cumulated in obtaining an agreement between the Toledo, Peoria & Western Railroad, McLean County Government and the Illinois Department of Transportation which will allow the completion of the Historic Route 66 Trail railroad crossing in Chenoa. Barn lost in fire this week
A barn north of Weston was a total loss after a fire late Monday night. Chenoa firefighters were paged for the working structure fire at 11:04 p.m. on Livingston County Road 1000 North between 1500 East and 1600 East. The official cause of the fire is undetermined but a lightning strike likely caused it, according to officials. Some farm equipment was lost in the fire and the barn was a total loss.

Police report released on stuck semi
State Police have released more on a weekend wreck near Lexington involving a stuck semi on I-55. A preliminary investigation indicated a commercial motor vehicle struck a guardrail in the construction zone at Milepost 78. Traffic was diverted to U.S. Route 24 over to Interstate 39 with the roadway reopened after 11 p.m. Saturday. The initial report was at 8:48 p.m. No further information was released by State Police.

Minooka man dies in rural Livingston County crash
A 20-year-old Minooka man has died following a crash near Dwight in Livingston County Wednesday. Coroner Michael E. Renner reports the accident claimed the life of Michael T. Roberson, 20, who was a college student traveling back to school. The exact time of the crash is under investigation but is believed to have been in the early morning hours.
