A McLean County Grand Jury returned a 42-count indictment alleging child exploitation offenses involving Andrew Miller of Normal.

An arrest warrant was subsequently issued, and Miller was arrested later that afternoon by the Bloomington Police Department. The investigation began on February 9, 2026, when a victim reported they had exchanged photographs with Miller. The photographs were alleged to be sexual in nature and were sent when the victim was a minor and Miller was over the age of 18 and held a position of trust or authority.

On February 18, 2026, detectives served search warrants at Miller's place of employment, residence in Normal, and vehicle. Several electronic devices were seized and forensically analyzed by the Bloomington Police Department Cyber Crimes Unit. After a review of a large amount of digital evidence, investigators identified additional victims and gathered evidence that ultimately led to charges in this case.

On June 17, 2026, at 1:12 p.m., the Bloomington Police Department Street Crimes Unit conducted a traffic stop in the area of Bunn Street and Hamilton Road. Miller was arrested without incident on the outstanding arrest warrant and transported to the McLean County Detention Facility.

He was arrested for:

• Indecent Solicitation of a Child

• Grooming

• Possession of Child Sex Abuse Material (40 counts)

A pre-trial detention hearing is scheduled for June 18, 2026. All suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
