Chenoa house fire investigated

A one-story home in Chenoa was damaged by fire Tuesday evening.

Firefighters were called to 410 Grant Street around 8 p.m. and the home's residents were not home at the time but some dogs were lost in the fire.

The cause of this week's fire is under investigation and Chenoa firefighters were assisted by departments from Lexington, Gridley and Fairbury.
