Dwight re-establishing Chamber of Commerce

A group of business owners in the Dwight area have formally begun the process of re-establishing a Dwight Area Chamber of Commerce.

The business-led organization will be focused on supporting local businesses, strengthening the area economy and fostering collaboration across the community. Following a series of initial planning meetings, the group has filed for state incorporation and appointed an interim board of directors.

As development continues, business owners and operators throughout Dwight are encouraged to participate in shaping the Chamber’s priorities, structure and programming. Additional details regarding membership, leadership and upcoming meetings will be shared as the organization progresses.

The community consolidated several entities in 2014 into a single organization known as the Dwight Economic Alliance with the goal of streamlining resources, finances and volunteer leadership. The model operated successfully for a number of years and played an important role in advancing community initiatives.
