Fatal wreck reported near Flanagan

A Long Point man died after an accident north of Flanagan early Sunday.

The Livingston County Coroner’s Office reports the incident occurred near the intersection of 300 East and 2100 North Roads.

Daryn Kacvinsky, 25, was reportedly driving a blue Chevrolet Cruze south on 300 East when he left the road and entered the ditch. The vehicle struck a culvert and rolled before coming to rest south of 2100 North Road.

Kacvinsky was pronounced dead at the scene.

Agencies responding and investigating the incident included Livingston County Sheriff’s Police, Flanagan Fire Department, Gridley EMS, Illinois State Police, SELCAS and the Livingston County Coroner.
