November General Election has arrived

The General Election is here (on Tuesday, Nov. 3) with polls open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

At the county level in Livingston County, there is a race for State’s Attorney for an unexpired two-year term. Also, the county clerk and recorder, treasurer and sheriff run unopposed. Local voters will also decide judges in the 11^th Judicial Circuit and retention of judges in the 4^th and 11^th Judicial Districts.

For Livingston County Board, there are three positions with four candidates running in District One which includes Pontiac. There are no referenda or public questions on this ballot.

Candidates will also be elected for Governor/Lt. Governor, U.S. Senator, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Comptroller, Treasurer, Representatives in Congress, State Senators, General Assembly and Regional Superintendent of Schools.
