Police report released on stuck semi

State Police have released more on a weekend wreck near Lexington involving a stuck semi on I-55.

A preliminary investigation indicated a commercial motor vehicle struck a guardrail in the construction zone at Milepost 78. Traffic was diverted to U.S. Route 24 over to Interstate 39 with the roadway reopened after 11 p.m. Saturday. The initial report was at 8:48 p.m.

No further information was released by State Police.
