Sheriff hands out honors

Livingston County Sheriff Ryan Bohm honored several individuals during last week’s regular meeting of the Livingston County Board.
Official commendations were presented for actions taken during a fire in the Livingston County Jail. Those honored were Correctional Officer Austin Caldwell, Correctional Officer Camson Marin and Correctional Officer Austin Rabideau.
Life-saving awards were presented for actions taken during a medical emergency at the Livingston County Jail. These went to Sgt. Tony Martin, Sgt. Ian Shoop, Correctional Officer Sam Grieff and Nurse Nicole Healy.
Citizen Commendation for Meritorious Act was presented to Raymond Bohm and Erin Mays for actions taken at the scene of a motor vehicle accident.
“You stepped up for the greater good of our county,” Bohm said while making the presentations before the Livingston County Board.
“Thank you for your service,” added County Board Chairman Jim Carley.
