The arts to be featured in Pontiac

The arts will be featured this weekend in downtown Pontiac during the annual Swinging Bridges and Arts Festival.

It runs Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy the art center kid zone, Zoo Lady face painting, Illinois Art Station artmaking and the Master Gardeners Plant a Succulent.

Musical lineup includes River Road Trio with a Friday evening performance at Mill Street Tap from 6 to 9 p.m. with a day full of music Saturday featuring Dan Blanchette at Bob and Ringo’s 9 to 11 a.m., The Riker Maneuver at the Main Stage from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Noah Hutton at Bob and Ringo’s from 2 to 4 p.m. and Carrie Sue & the Woodburners at the Main Stage from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Chicago Farmer performs at the Main Stage from 7 to 9 p.m. that night.

Sunday includes Mackville Bluegrass at the Main Stage from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the Pistol Packin’ Mamas at Bob and Ringo’s from 12 to 3 p.m.
