State Police have released information on a couple of accidents around Chenoa and Ocoya this week.
A two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning occurred on I-55 near milepost 186 at Chenoa involving a commercial vehicle and passenger car. Authorities say a 2022 Freightliner truck tractor semi-trailer combination vehicle was parked on the right shoulder when a 2022 Toyota SUV was traveling south at the same location when the SUV driver left the road onto the right shoulder striking the back of the trailer. The SUV then entered the median and rolled over.
Another wreck occurred Thursday morning south of Pontiac at Old Route 66 and Livingston Couty Road 1200 North, involving three vehicles. Those involved included a commercial vehicle and two passenger ones. The northbound lane of Old Route 66 and 1200 North was closed after the incident.
No injuries were reported on the scene of either accident, according to police.
