Early voting, vote by mail and grace registration will be conducted prior to the November 3 General Election at the historic Livingston County Courthouse in Pontiac.

Voter registration closed on Tuesday, Oct. 6 and grace period registration began Oct. 7.

The Livingston County Clerk's Office inside the courthouse is open Monday-Friday through Nov. 2 from 8 to 4:30 at 112 W. Madison Street in Pontiac. The office will also be open Saturdays Oct. 17, 24 and 31 from 9 to noon.

The early voting process allows any registered voter in the county to use the location to cast a ballot prior to Election Day. Early voters must be registered Livingston County voters. No excuse or reason is necessary to apply.

Additional election information as well as applications for ballots and sample ballots may be obtained from the Livingston County website at www.livingstoncountyil.gov. Click on "department" then click "elections," choose "Vote by Mail and Early Voting." Select one of the three listed choices that is best for you.
