Few details on Monday fire

Fire damaged a house in Weston early Monday morning and numerous departments responded.

While there is no word on the cause or if any injuries were involved, the Pontiac Fire Department confirmed in a Facebook post they responded to the mutual aid call assisting Chenoa firefighters with fire suppression and water supply operations.

The Fairbury Fire Department also confirmed they responded to a mutual aid request for the Weston structure fire which occurred on the west edge of town.

Messages left for the Chenoa Fire Chief inquiring about the fire were unsuccessful as of Monday evening.
