Fire destroys El Paso building

The sales building for an automotive business was lost due to fire Wednesday night in El Paso.

No injuries were reported in the fire at Mounce Automotive along Route 24 and a house near the building was saved with the family evacuated. The cause of the fire has not been released.

A Facebook post from Mounce Automotive said all of their locations remain open to serve automotive repair and sales needs. A temporary sales office was set up in the El Paso service department.

Mounce Automotive has locations in El Paso and Lexington.
