Geralds is parade grand marshal

The Pontiac Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce this year Threshermen's Parade Grand Marshal, Rosie Geralds.

Rosie is 88 years old and has been working at the Route 66 Museum welcoming Pontiac residents and guests for the City for 18 years.  She does not like to be the focus of attention, but deserves it, according to a press release issued by the Pontiac Area Chamber. 

Her nomination stated: "I have seen international visitors come and after talking to her, they want photos with her as though she is the best thing they have encountered along their trip.  She is positive and has a love for people that is unrivaled."

She would work everyday if she were allowed to. Thank you, Rosie for your hard work and dedication.
