Update provided on officers

State Police are updating the public on the conditions of two officers who were shot in Gibson City last weekend.

Both the Gibson City officer and Ford County Sheriff's deputy involved were treated and released from the hospital and authorities say neither fired weapons during the incident. They were both placed on paid administrative leave.

Police were called to Ash Street in Gibson City last Saturday for a report of a naked man. The officers were shot when responding and making contact with David Jordan. Jordan remains on the loose.
