No arrests were made this week after a third-party call was received by the Woodford County Dispatch Center Wednesday of a 29-year-old male from rural Metamora threatening violence with a firearm.
A statement from the Woodford County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the scene and contacted the male and his mother, the only two in the residence.
Following a discussion with the two, a search was made of the residence, no firearms were discovered and the threat was not substantiated.
Woodford County Chief Deputy Dennis Tipsword confirmed that there were no arrests.
