Tipsword recognized by ILACP

State Representative Dennis Tipsword (R-Metamora) has been recognized as the 2025 Public Official of the Year by the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police (ILACP).
Rep. Tipsword received the award during a ceremony at the State Capitol yesterday.
“I am very humbled and honored to have received this award from the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police,” Rep. Tipsword stated. “After spending 30-plus years in the industry, it's an incredible honor to receive this award from a group of my peers. Thank you and congratulations to the other public officials who were recognized as well.”
