Another arrest has been made by the “predator team” within the Woodford County Pro-Active Unit. Woodford County Chief Deputy Dennis Tipsword has announced the arrest of Rodney K. Pontiac inmate death investigated
A Pontiac Correctional Center inmate was found dead in his cell Sunday evening and authorities are investigating. Pontiac Fire and Ambulance were dispatched to the prison shortly before 5:30 p.m. for an inmate who was unresponsive in the north cell house. “Upon arrival, medical aid was attempted but the inmate did not survive and the time of death was pronounced at 6:07 p.m.,” stated a news release from Livingston County Coroner Michael E. New hours for Livingston Health Dept.

Second fire victim ID'd in McLean Co.
The McLean County Corner has released the identity of a second fire victim from a fatal house fire in Bloomington late last month. Two deaths were reported at 1205 Eastholme Avenue on Nov. 26. Thanksgiving enforcement results
